ABOUT

What is flotation therapy?

Floatation therapy, also known as Rest-Floatation (Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy), is a wellness experience that involves floating in water highly concentrated with Epsom salt.

Thanks to this high salt concentration, the body floats naturally on the surface with very little effort.

The cabin environment is designed to minimize external stimuli: less light, less noise, and fewer distractions.

You have nothing to do, nothing to accomplish. You can simply let yourself float and enjoy the moment.

Why try flotation therapy?

Floatation therapy is used in various wellness routines, relaxation, stress management, and physical recovery.

Research on REST-Floatation has focused in particular on its potential effects on stress, anxiety, relaxation, psychological well-being, pain, as well as certain aspects of physical and sports recovery.

Each experience remains personal. For some people, the session becomes a moment of deep relaxation. For others, it is an opportunity to meditate, to recover physically, or simply to escape the many demands of daily life.

DISCOVER THE BENEFITS

The potential benefits of flotation

Deep relaxation

Reducing sensory stimulation creates an environment particularly conducive to calm. During your session, you can temporarily escape the noise, screens and demands of daily life.

Stress management

Voluntarily taking time away from responsibilities and constant stimulation can promote a state of calm and become part of a stress management routine.

Muscle relaxation

The buoyancy of the water supports your body and reduces the effort needed to maintain your position against gravity. This allows your muscles to benefit from an environment that promotes relaxation.

Physical recovery

Active individuals and athletes can also incorporate flotation into their recovery routine to allow themselves a period dedicated to rest and relaxation of the body.

Mental break

With fewer external distractions, flotation can create an environment conducive to mindfulness, reflection, meditation, or simply silence.

A moment just for you

It is not necessary to have a specific objective. Floatation therapy can simply be a way to give yourself time, slow down, and settle down.

What does a floatation session look like?

01. Your experience begins in a private space where you can take a shower before entering the cabin.

02. You then settle into the warm water enriched with Epsom salt. Thanks to its high buoyancy, your body naturally positions itself at the surface.

03. Once settled in, you choose the experience that suits you. You can leave the cabin open or close it, depending on your comfort level.

04. You can meditate, focus on your breathing, let your thoughts come and go, or simply enjoy the silence.

There is nothing to achieve during a floatation session. You just have to float.

05. At the end of your session, you take a shower to rinse off the salt and take the time to calmly return to your day.

Your first experience?

Have you never tried floating? No problem.
You don’t need to know how to swim, how to meditate, or have had a similar experience before.

The session can be adapted to your comfort level and you retain control of your environment throughout the experience.
